Calibration Slide

Calibration slides are provided for easy collection of the light emission profiles of tapered fibers. Calibration slides consist of a specified tapered fiber stub attached on a microscope slide. The surface of the slide close to the fiber is covered with hydrophobic material to help formation of the droplet of fluorophore solution.

*Nominal active length values refer to the whole-taper operation of Lambda fibers and are valid for blue (450 – 480nm) light emission and green (500 – 550nm) fluorescence collection. They only applies if the numerical aperture of the light launch/collection optical system matches the numerical apertures of the fiber stub and when using patch cords with the same specifications of the fiber stubs (both NA and core size).
